Quest'estate vi avevo accennato al progetto della graphic novel "Il coraggio di Bianca", in collaborazione con Astragalo Edizioni. Ora siamo pronti a partire. Nei prossimi mesi potrete vedere pubblicati un pò di studi, schizzi o altre illustrazioni promozionali come questa.

This summer I had mentioned a graphic novel project called "Bianca the brave", in collaboration with Astragalo Editions. Now we're ready to go. In the next months you'll see published some studies, sketches or other promotional illustrations like this.

"Vacanze" per modo di dire...io non vado mai veramente in vacanza, ma almeno da domani sono al fresco tra le mie meravigliose Alpi. E tra un illustrazione e l'altra posso godere del panorama e fare un tuffo nel fiume dietro casa. Mi pare ottimo!

Il progetto consiste in una graphic novel per ragazzi dal titolo "Il coraggio di Bianca", prodotta da Edizioni Astragalo, che dovrebbe uscire intorno a Natale. Narra le avventure di una ragazza di buona famiglia che fugge per arruolarsi e diventare una corsara durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale...

Con me collaborano Elena Ferrari (illustrazioni), Simona Pagano (testo) e Bruno Testa (supervisione e grafica).

"Vacation"...I don't ever go really on vacation, but at least tomorrow I'll be in my wonderful fresh Alps. And during my work I can enjoy the view and take a dip in the river behind my home. It seems great!

This project consists in a graphic novel for teenager entitled "The courage of Bianca", produced by Astragalo Edition, which should come out around Christmas time. It tells the adventures of a girl from a good family, who flees to enlist and become a corsair during the First World War ...
Collaborate with me Elena Ferrari (illustrations), Simona Pagano (text) and Bruno Testa (supervision and graphics).

Lo so sono più di due mesi che non aggiorno, ma nonostante l'anno sia iniziato bene, la scuola di fumetto che procede alla grande e delle piccole soddisfazioni lavorative, ho avuto una piccola "crisi". Ho disegnato in ogni momento libero a disposizione, ma non ero mai soddisfatta di niente (e non lo sono tuttora), ogni disegno mi sembrava stupido, storto, malfatto e ogni volta rimandavo l'aggiornamento in attesa di qualcosa di meglio. 

Poi un giorno mi son detta "Ma non è che quelli che hai fatto finora siano poi tanto diversi -_- se aspetti il disegno perfetto non pubblicherai mai più niente!"

E mi sono ricordata perchè ho cominciato: per avere uno stimolo a migliorare, grazie ai supporters, ai commenti, alle critiche o anche solo vedendo i progressi fatti volta per volta...quindi penso proprio che sia ora di RICOMINCIARE!

Ovviamente un disegno imperfetto, soprattutto nel volto e nella mano che sono parecchio rigidi, ma che illustra perfettamente il mio stato d'animo dell'ultimo periodo, speriamo sia catartico!

I know there are more than two months that I do not update, but despite the year has started well, the school of comics shall give great and the big and small job satisfaction, I had a small "crisis". I drew every spare moment available, but I was never satisfied with anything (and still are), every drawing seemed me stupid, wrong, badly and each time sent the update waiting for something better. 

Then one day I said to myself "Is not that what you've done so far are that much different -_- if you wait for the perfect drawing never publish anything!" 

And I remembered why I started: to have an incentive to improve, thanks to the supporters, comments, criticism, or even just seeing the progress from time to time...so I really think it's time to START OVER! 

Obviously an imperfect drawing, especially face and hand are quite rigid, but it illustrates perfectly my last time mood, hopefully it will be cathartic!

Da appassionata di calcio quale sono non potevo non rendere omaggio al nuovo Campionato del Mondo, così proprio nel giorno del suo inizio pubblico questa Fan Art con la mia gattina CatOnTheMoon come protagonista.

Chiedo scusa se la colorazione non è delle migliori ma ho fatto tutto di fretta  per poterla pubblicare in tempo e...questo è il meglio che sono riuscita a produrre..."step by step".

Spero sia di gradimento a tutti i calciofili e non solo!

Passionate of soccer which I am, I could not to pay homage to the new World Championship, so own in the day of its beginning I publish this Fan Art with my kitten CatOnTheMoon like protagonist. 

I find excuse if the coloration is not of the best ones but I have made all of haste in order to can publish it in time and… this is the best that I succeeded to produce…"step by step". 

I hope that it been of approval to all the soccer passionate and not only!

Oggi vi presento altri due miei OC. Ufficialmente non hanno ancora un nome proprio, ma fanno parte di una serie d'illustrazioni chiamata "I've got a feeling..." (come la canzone dei Beatles).

Di fatto si tratta di un lavoro a due mani : durante l'ultima sessione di esami dell'Accademia, nell'attesa tra una prova e l'altra, scarabocchiavo sulla lavagna, quando mi si avvicina l'amico EsseDue e...metti qua, togli là, disegna di su, cancella di giù...sono apparsi questi due buffi personaggini!

In seguito questi due teneri characters sono divenuti l'ispirazione principale per alcune mie illustrazioni a soggetto amoroso ed hanno riscontrato un discreto successo tra alcuni amici che me li hanno richiesti all'interno di un biglietto d'auguri per un matrimonio.

Attualmente, data la loro forma semplice e sinuosa, li sto preparando per sottoporli all'esigente pubblico di Patch Together LINK e vedere se si riesce a farne due simpatici Toys.

Today I introduce you others two my OC. Officially they don't have still an own name, but they are part of an illustrations series called  "I've got a feeling..." (like the Beatles' song).

Really they are a two hands job : during the last examinations session at the Academy, waiting for  the next test, I scribbled on the blackboard, when it's approached to me my friend EsseDue and… we put ting here, removing here, drawing on, deleting down…appeared these two little, funny personages!

Later on these two tender characters become the main inspiration for some mine illustrations with amorous subject and they also found a moderate success between some of my friends, that had commissioned to me a wedding-card with them.

Currently, whereas their simple and sinous form, I'm preparing them to submit to the exacting  public of Patch Together LINK and to see if I'm able to make them two likeable Toys.

I public here some images, between which the unpublished one of the original drawing, the others  illustrations you can find into dedicate Folder on DeviantART.

OPENING!

Ho aperto da molto questo blog ma non sono mai riuscita a trovare il tempo per organizzarlo a dovere.

Prima l'apertura della galleria su DeviantArt, poi l'aggiornamento degli altri spazi lasciati andare un pò alla deriva ed infine il solito massiccio impegno per il Carnevale.

Ora però che è quasi finito tutto posso darmi da fare seriamente! ^.^

L'idea è nata in seguito alla progettazione del Journal all'interno della mia pagina DeviantART. All'inizio avevo pensato di fare un blog dedicato unicamente ai miei "gatti spaziali", ma poi ho deciso per un vero e proprio "Giornale Spaziale". Attualmente la struttura risulta dunque essere la questa:

• Space Circus on Blogger : sede centrale, dove trovare le inserzioni più importanti.
• Space Gazette on DeviantART : succursale, dove leggere argomenti più leggeri e sfiziosetti.

Non voglio negare che ho deciso di aprire questo spazio soprattutto per pubblicizzare i miei lavori e far si che le persone interessate potessero accedere in modo semplice e diretto, attraverso i Personal Links, alla mia Galleria, piuttosto che al mio Portfolio o al mio Curriculum Vitae, senza tralasciare gli aggiornamenti veloci di Twitter, o le frivolezze di Facebook.

Tuttavia questa non vuole essere soltanto una vetrina dove postare gli ultimi prodotti, ma anche un giornale (magari non proprio quotidiano...) in piena regola: fatto di articoli, recensioni, links utili e molto altro. 

Spero vivamente di riuscire ad interessarvi e mi riprometto di aggiornare con la dovuta regolarità questo e tutti gli altri miei spazi sul web.

I have opened  this blog some month ago, but I never found the time to organize it properly. First of alla I opened a web gallery on DeviantArt, then I had to update my other web spaces  just drifting and tfinally mine engagement for the Carnival as usual.

But now that it's almost ended all, I can bind me seriously! ^.^ 

The idea was born as a result of the DeviantART page's Journal planning.  At the beginning I thought to make a Blog dedicated only to mine "space cats" , but then I decided for a real one "Space newspaper". Currently the structure is :

• Space Circus on Blogger : the head office, where you can find the more important insertions.
• Space Gazette on DeviantART : the branch office, where you can read lighter and funnier arguments.

I don't want to deny that I have decided to open this space above all in order to advertise my works and allow to the interested people to approach in a simple and direct way, through the Personal Links, to my Gallery, rather than to my Portfolio or my Resume, without to omit the fast updates on Twitter, or the trifles on Facebook.

However this does not want to be only a display window where I post the last products, but also a regular newspaper (even not own daily paper…) : made of articles, reviews, useful links and so on.

I hope strongly to interest you and I proposed to update regularly this and all others my web space.
